“To lose fat don’t you have to spend at least an hour at the gym?” My father in law asked me one time. Of course my answer was my famous: “it depends.” Many of my most famous rants is that there is so much information out there in the fitness world. The sad part of that is that most of it is outdated. There are many dinosaurs in this industry that still hold closely to out dated ideas that have been disproved time and time again. One such thought is spot removal, this idea was shown to be false decades ago yet. It is still being claimed as true  by liars and charlatans trying to take the money of the uninformed.

You will find no such claim by me. Instead you will be told the truth that self-discipline and hard work only will transform your body. We do however believe that fat loss should be uncomplicated and done with the least time commitment possible. In light of this philosophy: I create these  workouts of the week, every week.

We continue this effort once again with our workout of this week:

The Fat Blasting, Back Developing High Pull Workout

This week’s workout is so simple all that you need is a kettlebell and to know how to do the high-pull movement. All that the workout consists of is doing the high pull for 15 reps, 10 reps and then 5 reps. The way that this workouts is designed, you will not have to rest very much. Due to the  descending rep scheme. The benefits are burned fat, working the core and building a butt and mid-back that only a kettlebell can forge. Also you  will  help bring some balance to your back muscles as well by developing the horizontal pulling muscles.

As with anything worthwhile there are a few simple guidelines to follow to make this workout both safe and effective.

The guidelines for success:

  • Do all of your sets and reps with quality form. Crap only produces crap!
  • Breathe by matching your breathing with each pattern
  • Rest as much as you need to and no more. This workouts design requires very little rest!
  • Tough it out while working out ( keep in mind the results)
  • Enjoy the fat blasting effect  and raised metabolism.

So enjoy your time in the gym again and as a result have more time for the things that  matter and the energy needed to handle them.
